OK, forgive the over-used meme and stick with me here. In the process of a home inspection, I see people employ fixes that are imaginative and expedient. Unfortunately, these fixes are often detrimental to life and property. When I tell my clients about what I have found, I’m tempted to start the sentence with “You would not believe…”, thus the title for these posts.

The Purpose of these Posts

It’s tempting to go of on a rant about peoples’ laziness, ignorance or parsimony, but who wants to listen to that guy? In documenting my incredulity, I hope to inject a little humor into the subject of Home Inspections as well as a bit of instructional knowledge.
